We know this is a stressful and confusing time as concerns about coronavirus continue to impact more aspects of daily life in Metro Atlanta.
Please read below for some simple pet care tips and service updates from The Village Pets.
Caring for Your Fur Balls
As you begin adjusting your daily routines to be more cautious and avoid crowded areas, try to maintain your fur ball’s routine as much as possible. Big changes in day-to-day activities can cause stress and anxiety, which can have multiplier effects during an already difficult time.
While the CDC maintains there is no evidence that the virus can be transmitted from household pets to humans, we recommend limiting contact with your pets if you become ill. The Village Pets is ready and willing to assist if these circumstances arise.
Make sure the emergency contact information you provided on your initial Pet Sitting Agreement From is accurate, especially if your fur balls are receiving care now or in the immediate future. It’s important for us to know who we should call in case of an emergency.
Our Commitment to You and Your Fur Balls
We are open!
We have been following updates closely, and do not have reason to believe that our normal services should be altered at the moment.
Whether it’s giving your pup the exercise and socialization they need, helping you create a quiet and productive work environment at home, or taking care of your furry family member while you’re sick, our daycare and dog walking services are here to help.
Safety, sanitation, and hygiene have always been top priorities for The Village Pets. Our daycare and boarding areas are sanitized regularly and the dogs change locations frequently to encourage proper cleaning routines and circulation of fresh, clean air. We maintain high standards of cleanliness during in-home visits by washing our hands and utilizing hand sanitizer between each visit.
Our team of pet sitters will continue working as long as they feel healthy and able. In case someone falls ill, we will ask them to stay home and appreciate your understanding as changes occur. We are committed to open, honest, and prompt communication during this time.
If you have any additional questions about our safety and sanitary procedures or other concerns related to COVID-19, please contact us.
