Interesting Fact:

Rich is a certified scuba diver and has dived in Brazil and multiple locations around the US.

Biography:

Richard was born and raised in Atlanta and is the oldest of 3 boys. Richard has two cats and three dogs that he’s crazy about. He’s adventurous and enjoys doing outdoor activities such as fishing and snowboarding. He also loves traveling whenever he has the opportunity. Richard enjoys working with animals because they don’t judge; they accept people for who they are and they’re easy to please!

Interesting Fact:

One of her dogs, Mango, was born in Uganda. He was born at the health clinic Courtney worked at while she lived in Uganda and she decided to bring him back when she returned to the US.

Biography:

An animal lover since birth, Courtney has always been surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, lizards, birds, horses, you name it!  Courtney loves to care for pet babies of all shapes, sizes, colors and temperaments. She holds a BA and MA, both in International Studies, and is a passionate community development worker by day.

Interesting Fact:

Helped teach a wolf pup to walk on a leash.

Biography:

Laura grew up volunteering at a cat shelter, rehabilitating squirrels, and eventually began her career with animals as a kennel tech in high school. She worked at a zoo and farm after college. This gained exotic animal experience with armadillos, sugar gliders, wolf pups, zebu cows, chinchillas, hedgehogs, kune kune pigs, and more including reptiles, such as a well-handled alligator. She is currently laboratory animal care technician at the CDC. Laura rescued her cat when he was a year old and feral, and with a lot of patience and love domesticated him into a loving companion.

She enjoys hiking with her dogs and occasionally drawing or painting.

Biography:

Ari has been an avid animal lover since childhood. She grew up around dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, and birds. She has nearly 8 years of experience working in dog daycare and is happiest when she is around animals!

Interesting Fact:

Anya once raised a family of gerbils!

Biography:

Anya was born and raised in Decatur, GA. She moved to Los Angeles for college to study languages and literature. After graduation, Anya decided their next language of study would be the language of dogs. She worked for four years as a dog walker, boarder, and sitter. During that time, Anya also began teaching Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience classes. After 8 years in Los Angeles, they decided it was time to move back home to be closer to friends and family, and Anya now continues to do what she loves most…spending time with animals and speaking their secret language!

Interesting Fact:

Karla loves to explore new hiking and dog-friendly coffee shops with her pup Max. She’s also bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. (Max knows Spanish too! He only knows Spanish commands.)

Biography:

Karla was born and raised in Georgia and is currently an undergraduate at Georgia State University, majoring in Biology in hopes to one day get into Vet School. Karla has lots of experience working with dogs and cats; she’s worked in doggy daycares, kennels, and as a veterinary assistant. Back in 2021, she volunteered at the Georgia Aquarium for about six months as well. Karla is currently involved in her Pre-Vet club at GSU, serving the metro Atlanta area. Karla’s true passion is meeting new pets and loving on them as if they were her own. 🙂

She has lived in 14 different states in the past two years, and visited 18 national parks.

Biography:

Laurie is a dedicated pet sitter with over 15 years of experience and a deep love for animals. Laurie’s journey with pets began early, she loved teaching dogs tricks and riding horses. In college, she worked on a dairy farm and assisted in both large and small animal veterinary hospitals. She’s also an avid traveler and hiker, always accompanied by her own dogs. When she’s not caring for pets, Laurie’s empowering individuals as a health coach, helping them lead vibrant lives.

Robyn has both Skydiving and Hang Gliding on her 2025 to-do list.

Biography:

Robyn has been an animal-lover for as long as she can remember. Oftentimes she would bring random animals home from school, cats and dogs of all ages, as well as the less conventional amphibian, baby bird, or insect. She would also sneak pets into school as a child, stowing the occasional hamster or bird carefully in her backpack and wreaking havoc in the classroom, which led to her parents having to do daily bag checks before taking her to school. As a teenager, Robyn would be known as the stray magnet who was constantly feeding and adopting animals off the street. Now, as an adult, she finds great satisfaction in helping people care for and love on their pets!
